Mount Albion Cemetery

Mount Albion Cemetery (Albion, NY) covers one hundred acres of rolling hills and terraces. Its picturesque landscape is home to over one thousand trees and a numerous array of flowers and bushes. Over sixty varieties of trees provide majesty and color to this tranquil setting. They range from alder to beech, butternut  to basswood, oak to spruce, hemlock to dogwood, pine to cedar and chestnut. But what dominates the landscape is New York State’s offical tree – the Sugar Maple. It’s brillaint fall colors dance across the landscape like a kalidescope of calm. Mount Albion Cemetery is proud to be officially accredited as an arboretum by ArbNet and The Morton Arboretum, and join the stellar collection of sites around the world that enjoy such a distinction.
