Description
The Loomis Chaffee Arboretum is supported by a community that aims to preserve tree biodiversity, embark on ecological experiments, celebrate plant life, and contribute to local outdoor engagement. The Arboretum’s mission is to inspire students to embody their best selves through environmental stewardship, academic exploration, and the study of tree ecology while serving the common good by preserving and protecting local plant biodiversity. The site includes native and notable trees including a Pecan, European Larch, and an American Holly.
