The Greenville Council of Garden Club’s Urban Arboretum
The Greenville Council of Garden Club’s Urban Arboretum
Description
The Arboretum is a diverse collection of primarily native trees and plants – from a Cypress by our pond and a variety of deciduous broad-leaf and conifer trees along and above the flood plain. The arboretum contains special trees such as Harry Lauder Walking Stick, a Bottlebrush Buckeye, a native Hackberry, and a False Larch. Sasanqua and Japonica Camelias, Tea Olives, Dogwoods, native Azaleas, and specialty gardens make the arboretum a peaceful oasis in this urban area.
The arboretum and gardens are open to the general public free of charge during daylight hours.
