This position is located in the Architect of the Capitol (AOC), U.S. Botanic Garden (USBG), Horticulture Division, Collections Section. The incumbent is responsible to grow and maintain museum quality living arboricultural accessioned collections. This includes tree care practices to grow, preserve and maintain a wide variety of tropical, sub-tropical, temperate and historical trees for the entire USBG public campus and production facility.
The incumbent works under the day-to-day general supervision of the Gardener (Advanced) Supervisor and/or the Supervisory Horticulturist. Performs a variety of worker level tasks related to the care of trees under the guidance and assistance of a certified Arborist.
This vacancy is open until 1/30/17.
The salary range is $23.56 to $27.39 / Per Hour.
